Je ne connaissais pas cette forme de tuiles.
Larry Bliss: Je les ai jamais vus ailleurs... I have never seen them elsewhere...
And a great angle to photograph them!
Larry Bliss: I didn't even have to leave the sidewalk... welcome back, y'all... smile
I like the stacked tiles, Larry, like lots of saucers.
Larry Bliss: Not flying saucers, I trust. smile

I have never seen tiles quite like these, Larry
Larry Bliss: Neither have I... the church is quite old and these tiles may have once been fashionable...

The quality of angle of the light here helps t accentuate the textures. Well seen.

The tiles are like stacked cookies or coins. The picture somehow reminds me of little villages in southern Europe.
Larry Bliss: They seem that way to me, too...
it makes such a wonderful pattern Larry... it's a well framed shot....petersmile
Larry Bliss: Thank you, Peter...
Those tiles all look as if they are about to slide down! Great shot!
Larry Bliss: They are held in place by aesthetics... smile
Well weathered stone and a newish roof by the look of things
Larry Bliss: the roof does look newer...
