Shelf: A (Slightly Blurry) Autobiography

I was bored the other night and tried out the extreme-most ISO setting on my camera. Portions of this image may or may not reflect my graduate education.

The "Hustler" calendar looks very "Undergrad", Larry.
Larry Bliss: LOL! That's a Sports Illustrated calendar--I am a classy guy, Ray!
Leave it to Ray to find that... smile
It is a rather eclectic collection! I like it for a photo comp, and the ISO is just fine!
Larry Bliss: Thanks, Elizabeth... I enjoyed playing with the ISO...

I can never resist looking at other people's bookshelves, Larry. More, please!
Larry Bliss: Next I will show my shelf of junk books... smile

Well that's it Larry. By reading your titles I have you completely summed up.

Just never look at mine!
Larry Bliss: I am sure your shelves would be most interesting, Chris...

Bored, Larry? Surely not. Pleased to see that you studied John Cleese.
Larry Bliss: Cleese is a worthy subject of study...smile

I love book shelves - and I own many of them - I would be interested in the book about " Modern American Humor" . I am just reading the autobiography by Richard Ford, Between them, sadly only in German.
Larry Bliss: Modern American Humor was printed in the 50s, so it may need an update... smile

I love browsing other people’s books Larry. I would not mind picking up some of these to take a look.
Larry Bliss: Just tell me which ones and I will have them FedExed...smile
Always interesting to see what people have on their book shelves.
Larry Bliss: I always look when I can get away with nosiness...smile
i think at that insane iso, you have a very nice picture, Larry. come to think of it, i have never done a similar experiment on mine.
i was expecting more/all books on construction and architecture.
Larry Bliss: Oddly I have very few architectural books... it would be nice to have some...
I think it is a good idea to play with the camera when bored. You can learn so much. I am very displeased that many camera now come without the paper manual. It is online or comes with a disc instead.
Larry Bliss: I was lucky--somebody wrote a book about my camera...

Kindle and the likes have made such a sight less common. I miss being able to look at the books on others' book shelves, so thank you Larry for sharing yours.
Larry Bliss: It seemed a fun thing to do...
you didn't waste any time during your graduate education Larry... good choice of books and a great image....petersmile
