photoblog image Wet. Maybe Too Much

Wet. Maybe Too Much

The timing of this rain picture is ironic. Florence will grace us with LOTS of rain. Preparations prevent me from commenting. I will be out of touch for at least two days while staying at my Dad's. Please keep the Carolinas and Virginia in your prayers.

Photography suits the temper of this age -- of active bodies and minds. It is a perfect medium for one whose mind is teeming with ideas, imagery, for a prolific worker who would be slowed down by painting or sculpting, for one who sees quickly and acts decisively, accurately. --Edward Weston

This looks like a parlour game for SUPREMELY INTELLIGENT beings such as yourself Larry

Please keep safe under the influence of Florence..
Larry Bliss: It reminds me of a Go board. Florence looks like it will now go to the south, with less danger to Raleigh.

Yes, I thought of you as I read about the hurricane. I hope the best for you and the inhabitants of Carolinas and Virginia.
Larry Bliss: The storm track has shifted south and should go into South Carolina. Raleigh will be safer, but our beaches will take a pounding.
I love that quote! Stay safe, Larry, and prayers are heading your way.
Larry Bliss: Many thanks, Mary
A fitting image, Larry. Hopefully Florence will not be as destructive as they predict. Glad to hear you are safe at your Dad's.
Larry Bliss: We will have a good time. We are both Scrabble players!
Thinking of you Larry. I hope all will be well and everybody will be safe
Larry Bliss: Many thanks for your thoughts. The track has shifted southward toward South Carolina, but our beaches and Wilmington will be clobbered. Also, severe flooding. Raleigh will get 10 inches.
