I had some kwik-kerb (continuous cast concrete) put in my garden. At places it looks like this, right now. Bad choice by myself. I agree with Gary, even if he is grand wino (what a surname smile)

The picture - I am not sure, but believe many of your other close-ups to be better than this one. It is not so much a technique issue as that of content.
Larry Bliss: Grand wino... I like that... I do not count this as among my best, true. Ah well...
