Scale is always good...especially when it comes to hurricanes, Larry. Our thoughts and prayers are with all in harm's way!
Larry Bliss: Thank you Ginnie... right now it appears Irma will pass to the west of Raleigh... which means it will likely his Georgia. So I will pray for your Atlanta kin.

I certainly will be thinking of you Larry
Larry Bliss: That's most appreciated Chris. Right now it looks like Florida and Cuba will get the worst of it.

I have just caught up on your Cathedral series, Larry. Good to see it complete. Please keep us posted if you can as this dreadful hurricane gets closer - I will be thinking of you
Larry Bliss: Thanks Lisl. The forecast track is now taking it to the west of Raleigh, into the mountains. My biggest concern is for Florida and the poor people in the Caribbean, where damage was severe.

Concerning the cathedral - I hope we get an inside look in due course.

Irma is no-one's girlfriend and what befell the Caribbean islands like St Martin is very bad and then with a Jose on the way as well. They are so defenceless. What I understand from cat 5 hurricanes, is that one's prep's must be pretty good to survive. So, here is another prayer for those in the way of such devastation.

Well, at long last I took the trouble to see where in the US one should look for Raleigh. I guess, as I am writing, you may already be experiencing inclement weather.
Larry Bliss: Public tours are planned for the cathedral later this month... thanks for looking us up Louis. Raleigh is expected to get rain starting sometime Monday.

You are in my thoughts Larry -stay safe.
Larry Bliss: I am cautiously optimistic--the hurricane will be weaker once it makes its way into the Carolinas. I live in a sturdy old brick building...
The cathedral looks lovely from this entrance. Hurricane season is a real worry to us easterners. Stay safe.
Larry Bliss: Thanks for the good wishes, Mary. It is a lovely building--more pics to come...
I hope it isn't too bad! The Caribbean has taken a hammering
Larry Bliss: The weather forecasters here are predicting Irma will go up the Florida panhandle and into Georgia, South Carolina, and the western part of North Carolina. Raleigh is predicted to have gusts to 40 mph and lots of rain on Monday.
