HAHAHA! Not at all, Larry! Quite the opposite. It's like the wires have "sucked up" the trees, or vice versa, becoming one. Or is that symbiosis?!
Larry Bliss: Okay, I gotcha. Osmosis it is. Hopefully in the spring the wires will reverse the pattern and send life back into the trees.

Hi Larry. So sorry to have been absent for a while due to circumstances and not a little idleness.

So glad to see you're still making the most of the everyday material on your doorstep. I've just reviewed your recent archive to ascertain that you're still in good form in this regard.
Larry Bliss: No need to apologize, Colin--I enjoy a bit (or a lot) of idleness. Thanks for the kind words. I do seem to draw inspiration from shooting close to home.

I've just heard on TV about big ice storms that are giving power cuts over there with lines down, etc. Hopefully you're far enough south not to be affected.
Larry Bliss: Thanks for your concern, Alan. I am well south of all the bad weather. We have not had any ice storms down here yet--they usually arrive in January or February. They are a monumental pain in the rear... 'tho charming photographically.
