Men in the Grid

From 2009: Construction workers at Central Prison. Who's in the box? By the way, the masonry at the top is part of the original prison wall from the 1800s.

For some, it may be a fine line between bars and rebar.

Wow, Larry. This packs a wallop, especially with the story behind it. I love all the verticals and the color.
Larry Bliss: Thanks, Ginnie. It's the main maximum security prison for North Carolina. No one gets out on their own.

Is it going to be a big place Larry?
Larry Bliss: It's going to be a huge addition to an already large prison.
Now that's a lot of rebar and cement Larry....it sure makes for great patterns though....well composed....petersmile
Larry Bliss: Thanks, Peter. I enjoy finding grid patterns in construction.

Barring the hope that the bar will not have run dry?
Larry Bliss: Well put, Louis.
I guess we build more prisons than care homes!
Larry Bliss: Two million behind bars in this country. How did that happen?
