I have always like painted OLD brick, Larry, but here??? Hmmmm. I wonder who made the decision?!

That is just plain daft.

haha, I love how the painter ended his work half way, just above the height he could reach

Painting should start at the top and go down but that is not the question. It will probably look new and fresh but red brick has it's place in New England architecture.
Larry Bliss: It harmonized better with the surroundings, too...

There is a woman in charge. And this I say with piety and knowledge. Women like to slap paint on things - go figure. A good part of my life, so far, was spent on removing paint off wood- and stonework. The originator of the paint is always a woman, desiring a change. Which is fine, but then why require the paint to be removed a few years later?

Some committee member was stuck with a load of white paint and convinced the pastor's wife that white was "in" this year wink
