From the thumbnail, I thought you had found a slug, Larry
Larry Bliss: Haha! I find slugs to be ultimately disgusting and would never photograph one!

A great impression Larry
Larry Bliss: Literally! smile
Does this mean it's an OUCH if you accidentally step on it, Larry?
Larry Bliss: Avoid at all costs, Ginnie! smile

How the simplist of tings can create a fascinating image Larry.
Larry Bliss: I love the simple things and the singular image.
You have a talent for finding things like this Larry and making fine images from them
Larry Bliss: It's a case of roving-eye-itis. smile
At the beach? Lovely!
Larry Bliss: Thank you, Mary!
i am intrigued by the uneven tread, Larry
Larry Bliss: It fascinates me, too. Possibly it is from a small child.

Bill wrote a word of truth. Analysing the footprint, it could be from someone who was running/jogging. That will deepen the front-end of the print. There are also some clods of mud in front of the print - the length of the spatter suggest something faster than normal walking.
Larry Bliss: Excellent forensic work, detective! smile

I'm not sure what I'm looking out and I'm not a lot wiser reading the comments or your replies. I'm probably in a majority of one in that case!
Larry Bliss: Beach footprint, heavy on the toes
Original as an idea. Full of details despite the uniformity of the color.
Larry Bliss: Thank you, Claudio.
