Three Moments on August 1, 2018

I don't know why I look so grim. Most of the time I am happy. Go figure.

I am enjoying my Android's 16:9 ratio.

We are making photographs to understand what our lives mean to us.

I think you come out best in the lower photo Larry, and in that one I like the arrangement of the framed prints on your wall.
Larry Bliss: It was an interesting experience to look at myself in a picture...

I especially like the lower photo- you are am man of culture as I see.
Larry Bliss: I owe it to my musical/theatrical parents.
You look serious rather than glum Larry. Bottom pic is the best one
Larry Bliss: I gotta post a carefree one of me... I have my unserious moments...

Hah, you reckon you look grim, but is normally a jolly fellow. I think we all think that of ourselves and then wonder about the pictures. It is like when you hear your own recorded voice and ask: "Do I really sound like that?"

That brings me to myself. In the places I worked, I used to walk down the corridors, singing or humming, yet people ignored that and I had to hear more than once that I am unfriendly. It took me a long time to realise that I can sink so deep into my own thoughts, that I hardly notice other people around me. Maybe that is why I could be singing at the same time - if I was more aware, I would probably have been embarrassed. I had to make a real conscious effort to acknowledge other people around me.

That said - you are probably in the process of concentrating on what you are doing - which doesn't make you unhappy smile
Larry Bliss: Wow, what an answer! I get lost in the moment too sometimes.

Darn it, Larry!

You should have posted a warning of Child-unsurible content.

Now I am trying to placate the kids with candys and ice-creams!

smile
Larry Bliss: I guess my pics are a little excitable. smile

I like the third one best and I agree with Bill, serious... not glum!
Larry Bliss: Those are some prints I made back when I had a darkroom. Some if not all of them have appeared on SC.
Selfie shots are something we do not do easily.
