Onward Rushing

Crabtree Creek in Raleigh.

Out of town (believe it or not at a monastery) until Tuesday, so no comments.

Commiseration, please. I just discovered that my faithful DSLR is blowing out the white areas in bright sunlight on white and yellow surfaces. Woe is me!

Very nice sense of movement here! Enjoy your retreat!
Larry Bliss: Thanks, Ellie! It will be a time of faith and strengthening, and also a fine road trip!
Dark and moody, Larry. Some days are like that. Did I ever mention that I have a nephew who is now a full-fledged monk in Michigan?
Larry Bliss: I love dark water. See tomorrow's post. Wow, a monk in the family! God bless him. I think the world would be far worse off were it not for the prayers of the dedicated.

It looks like a lot of water, Larry Is that normally like this this time of year??
Have a good and (quiet) time at the monastery.
Larry Bliss: The creek was agitated that day from recent floods. Thanks for the good wish. It will be just what I need.

Have a relaxing time there Larry. The waters here are appropriate..
Larry Bliss: Still waters run deep, yes.
A chance for peaceful contemplation Larry.
Larry Bliss: We all need that, especially in our 24-hour world of sensory overload.

With all that swirling going on, I believe I see three ducks, front middle.
Larry Bliss: Sorry, those are large branches.
No comment then but I do like the water.
Larry Bliss: Glad you like it...

I can well imagine the rushing sound of the water taking some branches with it. You will enjoy the quiet atmosphere at the monastery!
Larry Bliss: I did enjoy it and plan to go back...
