Saying Goodbye

How many remember the 60s TV program Lost in Space? I watched every cheesy episode. One of the characters was the fetching Penny Robinson, played by veteran child actress Angela Cartwright, who incidentally was born in Cheshire.

Flash forward five decades. I encounter Angela in my web meanderings and discover that since her acting days she has become an accomplished visual artist. As if that weren't enough, she edits a literary magazine and sings. Clearly there is more to her than the silver lamé spacesuit!

I found this print on her online shop. My eyes filled with tears the moment I saw it. It make strike you as overly sentimental... but it struck a chord in me. The price was right and I ordered it.

As you can see, I also received an autographed card and a list of her numerous online presences. Click here to visit.

This is a nice, and presumably unexpected, little sentimental episode for you Larry

What a find for you Larry. I have not seen anything of this television show. I wondered if it was one of these reality shows.

I remember "Lost in Space" with Dr Smith doing his bets ti wreck everything but the robot saving the day with Will Robinson! Sounds like Angela Cartwright was very talented.
I used to watch lost in Space. I loved Dr Smith and the robot.

The boy in the series was irritating in the extreme ...in fact the whole family were grin
i looked her up - i am not familiar with the tv series but she does seem to have done a whole body of photography work, Larry.
Fond memories, Larry!
I know exactly your reaction. I have seen work that immediately moved me so much I had to buy it.
