photoblog image In the Hollow

In the Hollow

Water forms in the hollow of the tree trunk after a precious rain. So many of my pictures come from right in front of my apartment.

Here's the same feature from a different angle and lighting. Please go to:

Sorry about the cut and paste--I could not get the direct link to work.

There wasn't anything at your 'same feature' link, Larry, but I do see a quagmire of sorts in this pic here. It's hard to believe this is a hollow from a tree trunk. It's so saturated!
Larry Bliss: I'm sorry about the bad link, Ginnie. I thought I had followed correct procedures. Rain does such nice things, doesn't it?

I agree with Ginnie. I can't believe this is a hollow from a tree trunk. It looks amazing Larry.
Larry Bliss: I think it helps that the bark is naturally dark.
